Warwick Castle Events

Warwick Castle runs a dated calendar on top of its daily programme, and the dates are the point: an evening event on 30 October is a different castle from the same building on 30 September. Below is what is published for 2026 and into 2027, with exact dates, what each one is, and who it is for.

Dates and prices change. Everything here was taken from the castle’s own event pages on 5 September 2026. Check the official events listing before you travel, and if the date you want has moved, Warwick Castle tours and tickets are all refundable at twenty-four hours’ notice.

Summer at Warwick Castle — 18 July to 31 August 2026

The school-holiday programme, sold as its own ticket from £25.35 per person. It is the busiest six weeks of the castle’s year, which is the trade: the fullest programme, against the fullest grounds. Anyone with a choice of dates and no children in school gets more out of the first three weeks of September.

The Haunted Castle — 24 October to 1 November 2026

Nine days of daytime Halloween programming, running 10am to 5pm, from £29 per person. The castle describes it as a family attraction suitable for all ages, and it adds live family shows, three mazes and the Witches of Warwick to the usual day. The Falconer’s Quest still flies, and the Rainy Day Guarantee still applies.

There is an overnight version from £85 per person that bundles a night in a Woodland Lodge or the castle hotel with breakfast. Staying over sets out what the on-site options are the rest of the year.

Castle After Dark — 24, 29, 30 and 31 October 2026

Four evenings only, from 6pm, from £27 per person, and this one is not the family version. The castle recommends it for ages ten and over: scare mazes called The Other Side, The Terror and Haunted Hollows, a silent disco, live music and DJs in the courtyard. The Castle Dungeon is available on those evenings at its own separate price again.

If you are travelling with younger children, the daytime Haunted Castle covers the same week and is built for them instead.

Castle Ceilidh — 16 October and 6 November 2026

Two Friday evenings, and the least-known thing in the castle’s year. A ceilidh inside a fourteenth-century building is an unusual proposition and it does not repeat often; if either date falls in your trip it is worth checking what is left.

Christmas at the Castle — 21 November 2026 to 3 January 2027

Six weeks of winter programming, and the longest dated run of the year. Two smaller things sit inside it: wreath making on Sunday 22 November 2026, and Carols at the Castle on Saturday 19 December 2026. Murder Mystery dining runs on selected dates across 2026 and 2027.

One London coach day runs on Boxing Day itself, which is the single date in the English calendar when almost everything else is shut. Warwick Castle day tour options are listed with their dates.

What has just finished

The Zog programme — the live shows, the meet-and-greets and the activity trail — ran until 27 September 2026 and is now over for the year. The rest of the outdoor programme, including the Falconer’s Quest and the trebuchet, runs to 1 November 2026 before the castle drops back to its winter shape of 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. If you are reading this in November, that is the difference between the photographs and the day you will get.
